A Dakota County District Judge upheld the arbitrator’s decision. The result: Doffing is reinstated as a Hastings police officer. Mayor Hicks shares his thoughts on the long legal battle that stemmed from the incident in March of 2007. Ding Ding Ding! A couple Hastings boxers proved their skills and came away with huge belts. Felicia Miner and Danny Figueroa were part of a small group from the Hastings Boxing Academy that traveled to the Ringside World Championships in Kansas City. It is THE annual tournament that draws 3,000 boxers from around the world. Hear from the fighters and their coach on how the matches went.



One resident nearly took the life of another in a strange and rare beating at the Hastings Veteran’s Home. Attempted Murder charges have been filed against Randall Sears for his actions. The prosecutor, Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom, gives more details on the case.



After a 20 year break the Huberty family decided to bring back the popular Memorial Run for Terry. Terry was a Hastings race walker training for the Olympics when he was tragically killed by a car while training 30 years ago. Hear from a few of Terry’s loved ones on this successful event.
